Alfred de Prades was a painter of sporting subjects, hunting scenes animals and landscapes, working from 1844 to 1883 in London.
Not a lot more is known of this artist, but his work appears often in the auction room of France, Italy, Britain and America.
This drawing is a wonderful example of his abilities.
