Sculptor. Regional winner Livewire Award 1991, regional winner Reader's Digest/Prince's Youth Business Trust Award 1992, won the Wildlife Art Prize SWLA Mall Galleries 1993, finalist British Airways Award for Young Achievers in Art 1995. Clare's work is inspired by Tae Kwon-do (Korean martial art). Clare's aim is to "suggest a gesture, a movement, by utilising the minimum of detail". Solo shows include Bohun Gallery Henley-on-Thames from 1992, Guiness Gallery Dublin from 1994, Milne and Moller London 1996 and New Academy Gallery from 1997. Commissions and collections include Taylor Woodrow, Jerwood Foundation, Birmingham Midshires Building Society, Jigsaw, Gazeley Properties, Gartmore and many private collections.
