Frank Wasley

Painter of Coastal scenes and Venice. Wasley was well travelled artist who lived in Nottingham 1880, Shrewsbury 1882, Manchester 1895, Whitby 1896, Weston Super Mare 1903, Littlehampton 1908, London 1912 and Henley on Thames in 1914. Frank was influenced by the great JMW Turner, painting atmospheric scenes of Venice, vibrant sunsets and stormy seas.
Wasley exhibited at the Royal Society of Artists, Birmingham (2), Walker Gallery, Liverpool (2), Notting Museum and Art gallery(2), Royal Academy(3), Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colour (2) and many other regional Galleries.
