GEORGE HENRY Andrews
George Henry Andrews, born in London, was a painter (guoache), draughtsman, watercolouist and illustrator of genre scenes, landscapes with figures, waterscapes and seascapes.
He exhibited a large number of watercolours at the Society of Painters & Watercolouists between 1840 and 1850.
He is recognised as one of the most distinguished English Illustrators. He died in Hammersmith, London on 31 December, 1898.
