Helen Yardley studied printed and woven textiles at Manchester before receiving her Masters degree at the Royal College of Art. Her work is held in collections at the Victoria and Albert Museum and the British Crafts Council.
Her design studio was founded in London in 1983 and has steadily established Helen Yardley as a name synonymous with excellence in design and quality. 1992 saw her first collection for the French company Toulemonde Bochart. The Helen Yardley Studio produces textiles, rugs and wall hangings.
