Recorded in Benezit, Volume 1, as Norfolk born, is noted for his statue of the ‘Eagle Hunter’  situated at Waterloo; and that of the Duke of Wellinton at present on display at the Guildhall. He is noted as an exhibitor at the Royal Academy between 1832 until 1872, and the British Institution from 1837 until 1845. The Salford Museum has a figure of Omphale, Queen of Lydia, also in the Grecian manner.
