English Walker & Hall Boxed Set of Silverplate Cake or Pastry Forks

A vintage set of six English silver-plated pastry forks in their original fitted box by Walker & Hall of Sheffield, dating to the mid-20th century. Although originally designed for cakes and other pastries, the double-tined forks are an ideal size for appetizers, seafood, and a number of other desserts. The forks have solid handles terminating in an elegant lobed design. The forks are un-monogrammed and in very good condition with minor scuffs/scratches, measuring 5.5 in. L. The hinged box, lined in velvet and satin, is in good condition and closes securely in front with two clasps. The box measures 7.5 in. W x 7.5 in. L x 1 in. height. The forks are marked with the initials W & H inside a pennant and the interior of the box bears this same printed W & H pennant logo over Walker & Hall / Sheffield London. One fork...
