Basel- SCOPE, the cutting-edge contemporary art fair, returns for the second year to Basel in a new venue, a 60,000 square foot glass pavilion situated on the Rhine. Within walking distance of Art Basel 39, SCOPE will present its most international fair yet, showcasing 85 galleries from all over the world. The 21st International Paris Print Fair, one of the largest and most prestigious events with this focus, will be held at the Grand Palais from 19-21 June 2009, under the patronage of the President of French Republic and the UNESCO French Commission. The Paris Print Fair in partnership with the International Antiquarian Book Fair will have 200 selected exhibitors. The Library and Archive of Quebec and the Musee du Dessin et de l'estampe de Gravelines will also be present as distinguished guests at the Fair. The Paris Print Fair will present works from the 15th to the 21st century, in a wide range of graphic expressions.

he London International Antiquarian Book Fair, Olympia is the only truly international fair of its kind in the UK and attracts over 3,500 visitors every year. The Fair is run by the Antiquarian Booksellers Association (ABA) as its flagship event. In the 52 years since its launch in 1958 it has grown into the largest quality antiquarian book fair in the UK. Visitors will enjoy an unparalleled choice of highest quality collectors’ items ranging from Modern First Editions to Incunabula, from Plate Books to Maps and Atlases, from Pamphlets to Poetry, from Photography to Illustrations, to name a few. Now in its twentieth year, the Chelsea Antiquarian Book Fair aims to be the friendliest and most approachable of the antiquarian book fair calendar. If you are already in the trade, an existing collector, or simply curious about old, antiquarian, collectable books, maps and ephemera, then the Chelsea Antiquarian Book Fair at the Chelsea Old Town Hall on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th November is not to be missed.
Over 100 of the UK's finest dealers will display an exquisite array of over 20,000 pieces across 32 disciplines, ranging from 17th century English furniture to pre-1836 Continental furniture, pictures by the likes of Renoir and Picasso to decorative pieces from the Art Nouveau period, 20th century jewellery to arms and armour, silver, pottery and porcelain including Meissen.

The Chester Antiques Show brings together around 50 good dealers from across Britain, to display & sell a wide variety of quality Art and Antiques to the good folk of Cheshire. March 23-27, the Chelsea Antiques Fair is timed to co-incide with the BADA Fair just up Kings Road, this small but elegant fair offers a wide selection of good vetted quality antiques & art, from around 35 respected specialist dealers. The intimate setting has proved popular since the fair's inception in 1950. Running in March and September, Chelsea Fair is considered the village antiques fair for Chelsea residents, whilst attracting overseas visitors especially from USA and Japan. The Chester Antiques Show brings together around 50 good dealers from across Britain, to display & sell a wide variety of quality Art and Antiques to the good folk of Cheshire.
